BASED IN GRAFTON

40% OF HOUSE FIRES
START WITH THIS. MOST GRAFTON HOMES
AREN'T FULLY PROTECTED.

Full safety switch protection only became mandatory in 2019 — even homes rewired before that might not be covered. A 20-minute check tells you for certain.

4 in 10 Australian house fires start with an electrical fault. This is what that looks like on your street.

Why This Matters

Being "already rewired" isn't the same as being protected.

Australian wiring rules didn't always require a safety switch on every circuit — including lighting. That level of coverage only became mandatory nationally under the AS/NZS 3000:2018 standard, enforced from 1 January 2019.

If your home's electrics were last touched before that date — even a full rewire — there's a real chance some circuits still aren't covered. You can't tell by looking. The only way to know is to check.

Before 2019
Safety switches often only required on power circuits — lighting and other circuits could be left unprotected.
Since 2019
Full RCD protection on every circuit became the national standard — but it isn't retroactive for existing homes.
Today
A safety switch check is the only way to know which side of that line your home actually falls on.
What We Check

Four things, one visit.

A safety switch check covers all of this — most jobs done in a single visit, no return trips.

Safety Switch (RCD) Testing

We test every circuit against the current standard, not just the ones that already have protection.

Switchboard Upgrades

Modern, compliant switchboards fitted with proper RCBOs where the old board falls short.

Fault Finding & Repairs

Flickering lights, tripping breakers or warm switches — we find the actual cause, not just the symptom.

Thermal Imaging Inspections

Heat-signature scanning finds hidden faults in walls and boards before they become visible problems.
